Wärtsilä is an innovative technology company known for being a forerunner in the Marine and Energy markets. We are now looking for Field Service Engineers in Poland to meet the growing regional and global demand.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Execute service activates per Wärtsilä procedures and general practices safely.
• Perform basic troubleshooting; running tests, fine-tuning on equipment.
• Independently perform significant/complex repairs and complete overhauls.
• Perform warranty and commissioning activities towards customer or shipyard.
• Participate in pre and post briefing for each mission
• Create the Service Work Reports and expense reports.
• Create Non-Conformance Reports when appropriate to ensure "lesson learned"
• Advice and promote Wartsila products and solutions to customers.
• Participate in other department work as directed by your Line manager.

Requirements:

• Willing to meet an extensive travel program (approx. 150 Days per annum).
• PLC Automation experience is a must have requirement for this position.
• Relevant "hands-on experience" in Automation and Electrical disciplines
• Good command of English, written and verbal.
• Degree or Diploma in Process, Automation or Electronic Engineering
• Service and team mindset with good attention to detail, and self-motivating.
